Welcome aboard to a rich and aristocratic Kerala Temple Arts & Fine Arts Institution, Where in the beautiful fusion of the olden heritage of the traditional Kerala Arts is preserved and propagated in a pure "Guru - Shishya" tradition. In this site we have tried to give the visitor a flavour of the phenomenal combination of the traditional Temple arts, with the Musical Instruments, the various Dance Forms, the Mythological Ballets...

The institution's focus is to propagate pure versatility of these traditional art, and as hundreds of students are trained on various aspects like Vocals (Hindustani Classical, Carnatic ...), Dances (Mohini Attam, Bharatha Natyam, Kuuchipudi ...) and the various Musical Instruments (Chenda, Ghatam, Mridangam, Violin, Tabla) and newly we've added the "Nattuvangam".

Kerala Arts

We are happy to introduce a Traditional Art Form of Kerala - Kalarippayat. Kalarippayat is an ancient Gurukula System, practiced centuries with its own style and peculiarities of cultural, geographical and historical back ground of Kerala. It is directly liked to the ancient Indian Science of war (Dhanurveda) and Medicine (Ayurveda). The main elements of Kalarippayat includes training in physical, cultural, and armed-unarmed combatt, breathing exercise, higher forms of meditation ( Yoga) and specific class of medical treatment. It is belived that Parasuramaa an Avatar of Lord Vishnu and disciple of Lord Shiva in the creater of Kerala and founder of Kalarippayat. It is fore runner of Karatae, Kungfu, Figitusu, Jaekwondo and other Martial art. Cultural art like Kathakali, Koodiyattam, Theyyam, Thira, Velenkali, Parichamuttukali and contemporary thatre have an corporated this martial art system in movements and body compositions to highlight and create Various Expressions on stage.

Kalarippayat is recognised by Central and State Government sports and cultural authorities. We perform the above traditional art form in India and Abroad. Government has introduced new policies to promote this martial art including fencing sword combatt as become National and International sport.
