Lalitha Kalalayam Bombay is a registered Kerala Temple Arts & Fine Arts Institution, engaged in organising & presenting various cultural programs in and around Mumbai since past 30 years very successfully and satisfactorily.

With the various stages of it's operations, with the talent & expertise in various art forms, Mr. K N P Nambisan, who is more popularly known as Lalitha Kalalayam Nambisan, has institutionalised the Kalalayam and started giving classes for Carnatic, Hindustani Classical Music and for Performing Arts such as Mohini Attam, Bharatha Natyam, Kuchipudi, as also known as Kathakalli.

Eventually Lalitha Kalalayam earned name and fame in and around Mumbai as well as in many other cities. Apart from these, classes for Mridangam, Maddalam, Edakka, Chenda, Veena, Voilin, Guitar, Sitar and the Tabla are also conducted by the Kalalayam regularly.

The Kalalayam is enriched with an excellent Managing Committee dedicated for the visual materialisation of the objectives laid down by the eminent founders. The Kalalayam succeeded to ensure it's existence against many odds relating to resources and infrastructure. It was because of the trust and belief bestowed by the like minded folks and various institutions it could leave the presence felt in Mumbai and in other parts of country/ However the classes are conducted at the courtesy of all the well wishers, as it has no permanent place of it's own. With a view to perceive rich cultural heritage art forms.
